Philanthropy

    Kappa Alpha Order's National philanthropy is MDA, the Muscular Dystophy Association.  The Alpha Delta Chapter has raised over $2,000 for two consecutive years for MDA through Call-a-thons, haunted houses, and other small fundraisers.  In 2006, our chapter donated $800 to the Epilepsy Foundation in memory of Enrique Antonio Colon, III.  We plan to continue donating to the Epilepsy foundation annually in rememberance of our brother Enrique.

    In addition to MDA and the Epilepsy Foundation, the Alpha Delta chapter also contributes to Project Outreach, Hillcrest Home, and other local philanthropic organizations.  We have adopted a stretch of highway 152 outside of Liberty, MO that we clean at least once annually and we also participate in cleaning the stretch of Interstate 35 that the Jewell Greek System adopted.
